The S5300-HI series are the latest gigabit Layer 3 multi-service switches developed by Huawei, with the highest processing capabilities and the most service features of all box switches in the industry. The S5300-HI supports basic MPLS, VPLS , VLL and L3VPN functions, millisecond hardware-based BFD, and Eth-OAM technology. Its intelligent monitoring port and dying-gasp function protect the S5300-HI against ultra-low temperature and theft, allowing it to be installed outdoors. A: The S5300 can use only the certificated optical modules. If an uncertificated optical module is used, an error may occur and Huawei is not responsible for it.
