How to Setting Consistent Selective Receiving for ASON Services

The consistent selective receiving function, which ensures that the forward working trail and reverse working trail of a service traverse the same path, applies only to diamond services and co-sourced associated services.

Prerequisites

You must be an NM user with “NE operator” authority or higher.

The data of ASON NEs must be configured and uploaded.

The NE time must be synchronous with the NMS time.

Procedure

  1. Choose Configuration > SDH ASON > ASON Topology Management from the Main Menu.
  2. In the SDH ASON Topology Management window, select the desired domains in the left pane. Click the Global ASON Configurations tab.
  3. In the Working Routes of Diamond Service Traverse Same Nodes pane, double-click the Status and Detection Times(s) fields and set the parameters.
