The card provides data packet processing and traffic management on 36 x 400GE optical ports, which can be used as 36 x 100GE or 36 x 40GE optical ports or split into 144 x 100GE optical ports.

Basic function The card provides data packet processing and traffic management on 36 x 400GE optical ports, which can be used as 36 x 100GE or 36 x 40GE optical ports or split into 144 x 100GE optical ports.
Maximum port density If all LPUs are these cards:
The CloudEngine 16804 chassis provides a maximum of 144 400GE ports.
The CloudEngine 16808 chassis provides a maximum of 288 400GE ports.
The CloudEngine 16816 chassis provides a maximum of 576 400GE ports.
400GE port 400GE ports on the card support QSFP-DD, QSFP28, QSFP+ optical modules. A 400GE port can be used as a 100GE or 40GE port through auto-sensing, or split into four 100GE ports.
That is, a card can provide a maximum port density of 144 x 100GE.
All the 36 x 400GE ports are independent, and each port can be used as a 100GE or 40GE port through auto-sensing, or split into four 100GE ports.
NOTE:
Lower-layer 18 x 400GE ports (1, 3, 5, 7…) do not support QSFP-DD-400G-LR8 optical modules.
Hot swapping Supported
MACsec In V300R020C10SPC200 and later versions, the top-row 18 x 400GE ports (0, 2, 4, 6, …, 34) support MACsec. When these ports are used as 100GE/40GE ports or are split, they still support MACsec. Other ports do not support MACsec.
