Q: Does CR5D00E2NC70 LPUI-240 support PPPoE/IPoE function?

A: LPUI-240 itself cannot support PPPoE/IPoE, but you can buy NetEngine40E PPPoE/IPoE Function License for it, one LPUI-240 requires one such license.

 

Q: What prerequisites must be met and what licenses are required in order to use PPPoE/IPoE function on NE40E?

A: Below two factors to be met at the same time

1, NE40E

NE40E PPPoE/IPoE Function License is needed

2, Card and service port

Service card (no matter Flexible mother card, daughter card or integrated card) needs support PPPoE/IPoE Function.

Card model with “E” itself supports PPPoE/IPoE, no extra license; card without “E”, relative license is needed to activate PPPoE/IPoE.

In a word, NE40E license is the base, and then make sure service cards and port support PPPoE/IPoE.
