Description

Huawei ESM-48200A1 is an independent energy storage unit that consists of the electrochemical cells, battery management system (BMS), power and signal terminals, and mechanical parts.

Support for third-party power systems: The ESM implements lithium battery self-management so that it can be used with third-party power systems.
Hybrid use: Old and new ESMs or ESMs and lead-acid batteries can be used together
Intelligent features: automatic voltage boosting, hybrid use, and peak staggering
Antitheft functions: GPS (reserved), software lock, and displacement lock
Alarm management: Alarms are generated when overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, overtemperature, or undertemperature occurs.
Protection against exceptions: Protects against overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, short circuits, overtemperature, undertemperature, electrochemical cell faults, and hardware faults.
Charging management at the end of life: When the battery SOH is less than or equal to 50%, the charge current is limited to 10% of the original value
