All productsRecently, our customers are interested in Huawei SFP-10GBaseT-SR, and eager to know whether any Huawei switches with 10G optical ports support the 10G copper module or not.
In response to customer demands, we built up test environment in our lab.
Switch: FutureMatrix S6735-S24X6C (24*10GE SFP+ ports, 6*100GE QSFP28 ports)
Copper module: SFP-10GBaseT-SR, PN: 02314PHV
Test result: TX power is too low
So we can provide our customers an exact answer “NO”, most 10G optical ports only supports GE/10GE optical module or GE copper module, don’t support 10G copper module.
Then which switches support SFP-10GBaseT-SR and any precautions when using these SFPs?
