Q: Can I configure a SCUN board as the 1+1 redundancy?
A: No, you cannot. Although SCUK and SCUN have same specfications, but their inner softwares are different, so they cannot switchover with each other.
Q: Can I directly use the 4 GE uplink ports on SCUK to save cost of uplink board?
A: Yes, you can. But normally there are two SCUKs on an OLT, one is Active and the other is Standby, only uplink ports on the Active SCUK are useful.
