TNG2AST2 Two-Bidirectional optical supervisory channel and timing transmission unit
The available functional version of the AST2 board is: TNG2
Apply to OSN 9800 M05, OSN 9800 M12 and OSN 9800 M24.
AST2 board is mainly used to process and regenerate optical supervisory signals. In addition, the AST2 board supports the IEEE 1588v2 function
As an OSC board, the AST2 board processes two channels of supervisory signals, transmits and extracts the overhead information about the system, processes and sends the overhead information to the system control board
