TMF2SCC board supports Supports active/standby backup: Two SCC boards are configured for a subrack to provide 1+1 hot backup. If the active SCC board fails, the standby SCC board automatically becomes active
TMF2SCC board supports Optical-layer ASON
The TMF2SCC board is a system control and communication board. It collaborates with the NMS to manage other boards in the subrack, and implements inter-equipment communication.

Basic functions | Performs configuration management and reports associated alarms to the NMS. |
Supports the backup of NE data. When the NE data changes, the real-time database backup function immediately saves the changed configuration data into the storage medium to ensure that no configuration data is lost after the NE is reset (cold) or powered off. This data backup improves the reliability of the NE. | |
Supports the backup of its data to a SATA card. The user can back up NE data (except the NE IP, NE ID, Gateway ID, and Node ID) stored on the SCC board and the SCC board software to a SATA card. After backing up the data to the SATA card, the user does not need to re-provision an NE after replacing the NE’s SCC board. | |
Subrack cascading | Supports subrack cascading. |
When multiple subracks are cascaded on an NE, the SCC board is not required in the slave subracks. The SCC board in the master subrack communicates with the NMS for NE management. The SCC board in the master subrack processes overheads and alarms of the master and slave subracks, loads software packages, and delivers configuration commands to each slave subrack. | |
