Description

100Gbit/s Line Processing Board (150000 ps/nm,ULH,SDFEC2,wDCM), apply to Huawei OSN 8800.

Available functional versions of the NS4 board are TN54, TN56, TN57 and TN58.

In general OSN 8800 T64/T32 subrack and OSN 8800 universal platform subrack, TN57NS4T61 can work only in relay mode.

When TN57NS4T61 works in line mode, enhanced OSN 8800 T64 subrack must use TNK2USXH+TNK2UXCT; enhanced OSN 8800 T32 subrack must use the TN52UXCH/TN52UXCM; and OSN 8800 T16 subrack must use TN16UXCM.

TN57NS4 can be substituted by TN58NS4 (TN58NS4T62 and TN58NS4T50 exclusive) on the NMS without any software upgrade.

Achieves cross-connection at the electrical layer, and to provide OTN interfaces and ESC.

Supports the OTU4 interface on the WDM side.

Supports OTN frame format and overhead processing by referring to the ITU-T G.709.

OTU4 layer: supports the SM function.

ODUk(k=0, 1, 2, 3, 4, flex) layer: supports PM, TCM, PM and TCM non-intrusive monitoring functions.

Tune optical signal output on WDM within range of 80 wavelengths in C-band with channel spacing of 50GHz.

Supported ESC function.

Supports the PRBS function on the WDM side.

Supports HFEC and SDFEC on WDM side.

The WDM-side signals from an NS4 board can be regenerated by another NS4 or an LTX board of same type.

Supports ODUk SNCP.

Supports intra-board 1+1 protection(when working with OLP/DCP/QCP board).

Supports tributary SNCP protection.

Supports ODUk SPRing protection.

Supported WDM side and ODU0/ODU1/ODU2/ODU3/ODU4/ODUflexChannel Loopback.

 

TN57NS4T61 is a 100G OTN line board (150000 ps/nm,ULH,SDFEC2,wDCM), converts 80*ODU0, 80*ODUflex, 40*ODU1, 10*ODU2, 10*ODU2e, 2*ODU3, 1*ODU4 into one OTU4 signal. TN57NS4 can be substituted by TN58NS4 (TN58NS4T62 and TN58NS4T50 exclusive) on the NMS without any software upgrade.

TN57NS4T61 can apply to Huawei OSN8800. In general OSN 8800 T64/T32 subrack and OSN 8800 universal platform subrack, TN57NS4T61 can work only in relay mode; If you need TN57NS4T61 works in line mode, enhanced OSN 8800 T64 subrack must use TNK2USXH+TNK2UXCT, enhanced OSN 8800 T32 subrack must use the TN52UXCH/TN52UXCM and OSN 8800 T16 subrack must use TN16UXCM.

Q: Why the NS4 board cannot converts between 80 channels of ODU0 signals and one channel of OTU4 signals?

A: Please make sure that your NS4 board board is set to Line mode; and if your NS4 is TN54 version, it needs to be added on NMS.

Q: Why NS4 cannot work in line mode on the general 8800 T64 Subrack?

A: When NS4 is applied to general OSN8800 T64 subrack, it only can work in relay mode, cannot work in line mode. Enhanced T64 subrack supports NS4 work in line mode, and it must use cross-connect board TNK2USXH+TNK2UXCT.
