TNG1A212S09 12-port 10G Any Service Processing General Board

Applied to Huawei OSN 9800 M05, M12, M24, it supports Tributary Mode, Line Mode, Relay Mode

TNG1A212S09 board supports Alarms and performance events monitoring, FEC coding and ESC function

TNG1A212S09 board supports Loopback Protection scheme, and Physical clock only in Tributary and Line Mode

TNG1A212S09 board supports PRBS test function, Electrical-layer ASON, Test frame in Tributary Mode

The TNG1A212S09 board is a 12-port 10G Any Service Processing General Board. Each of ports IN1/OUT1 to IN10/OUT10 can be used as a tributary port, OTN line port, SDH line port, or line port (in relay mode). Each of ports IN11/OUT11 to IN12/OUT12 can be used as a tributary port or an SDH line port. The A212 board supports a maximum access capacity of 40 Gbit/s SDH services. It supports 2.5G, 8.5G, 10G optical modules etc. and can be configured according to needs.

Tributary Mode Function and Feature Description
Basic function Supports the following service conversions:
ODU0 non-convergence mode (Any->ODU0)
12 x (125 Mbit/s to 1.25 Gbit/s signals) <-> 12 x ODU0.
ODU1 non-convergence mode (Any->ODU1)
12 x (1.49 Gbit/s to 2.67 Gbit/s signals) <-> 12 x ODU1.

NOTE: In ODUflex non-convergence mode, when the M24 subrack works in 1:1 cross-connect mode, the board can access a maximum of 100 Gbit/s services; when the M24 subrack works in 1:3 cross-connect mode, the board can access a maximum of 120 Gbit/s services.
In ODU2 non-convergence mode, when the M24 subrack works in 1:1 cross-connect mode, n is 10; when the M24 subrack works in 1:3 cross-connect mode, n is 12.
Cross-connect capabilities In the 1:1 mode, supports the cross-connection of up to 100 Gbit/s ODUk signals.
In the 1:3 mode, supports the cross-connection of up to 120 Gbit/s ODUk signals.
OTN function Supports the OTN frame format and overhead processing defined by ITU-T G.709. The mapping process complies with ITU-T G.7041, ITU-T G.709 and G.Sup43.
ODUflex layer: supports PM overhead processing.
ODU0/ODU1/ODU2 layer: supports PM and TCM overhead processing, and non-intrusive monitoring of PM and TCM overheads.
OTU1/OTU2 layer: supports SM overhead processing.
LPT function Supported when the client-side service type is FE, GE or 10GE LAN.
ALS function Supports the ALS function on the client side when client services are non-OTN services.
Latency measurement When non-OTN services are received on the client side of the board, the PM section latency measurement is supported in the backplane direction (upstream direction). When OTN services are received on the client side of the board, the TCM section latency measurement is supported in the optical port direction (downstream direction).
IEEE 1588v2 Supports the TC, TC+OC, BC, and OC modes.
NOTE: Supports this function when receiving GE (GFP-T) services on the client side.
Supports this function when receiving 10GE LAN services on the client side and Port Mapping is set to MAC Transparent Mapping (10.7G).
The port equipped with an electrical module does not support IEEE 1588v2.
ITU-T G.8275.1 Supports the BC mode.
NOTE: Supports this function when receiving GE (GFP-T) services on the client side.
Supports this function when receiving 10GE LAN services on the client side and Port Mapping is set to MAC Transparent Mapping (10.7G).
The port equipped with an electrical module does not support ITU-T G.8275.1.

Each port on the board supports a mix of ODU0, ODU1, and ODUflex signals.
Cross-connect capabilities Supports the cross-connection of up to 100 Gbit/s ODUk signals.
OTN functions Supports OTU2/OTU2e on the WDM side.
Supports the OTN frame format and overhead processing defined by ITU-T G.709.
OTU2 layer: supports SM overhead processing.
ODUk (k=0, 1, 2, flex) layer: supports PM and TCM overhead processing, and non-intrusive monitoring of PM and TCM overheads.
WDM specification Supports ITU-T G.694.1-compliant DWDM specifications.
Tunable wavelength function Supports tunable wavelength optical modules that provide for 80 wavelengths tunable in the C band with 50 GHz channel spacing.
PRBS test function Supports the PRBS function on the WDM side.
Regeneration board The WDM-side signals of a A212 board can be regenerated by another A212/N210 board.
Latency measurement The board supports latency measurement in the WDM-side optical port direction (upstream direction). When higher-order ODUk cross-connections are created on the line board, TCM section latency measurement is supported for higher-order ODUk channels. When lower-order ODUk cross-connections are created on the line board, PM/TCM section latency measurement is supported for higher-order ODUk channels, and TCM section latency measurement is supported for lower-order ODUk channels.
