TNS2CTU, System Control and Communication Board With Clock Processing Function
Applied to Huawei to OSN 9800 U16
Matching Cross-Connect Board TNU1CCXCS
It is configured only when an U16 subrack functions as a central cluster chassis
Grooms services, manages configurations, and reports alarms in a subrack.
Backs up NE Data. When the data of an NE changes, the system control and communication unit immediately saves changed data to a storage medium to ensure that the NE data still exists after the NE undergoes a cold reset or power failure. This feature improves NE reliability.
Implements communication between NEs through IP over DCC.
Supports Electrical-layer ASON, Master-Slave subrack, Physical clock, IEEE 1588v2 and ITU-T G.8275.1
TNS2CTU is a system control and communication board with the clock processing function. On an NE, the CTU board interoperates with the NMS to manage other boards and implements communication with another NE. When the CTU board is used in a non-cluster scenario, it supports physical-layer clocks and provides an ITU-T G.813, ITU-T G.823 and ITU-T G.8275.1 compliant clock signal to service boards in the subrack. When the CTU board is used in a cluster scenario, it can maintain internal clock synchronization.
