TNS8N502 2-port 200G/100G Programmable Hybrid Line Service Processing Board.

Apply to OSN 9800 U64, OSN 9800 U32, OSN 9800 U16 and OSN 9800 M24,it supports relay mode and line mode

The N502 board can work in either line mode or relay mode and it supports ODUk and VC-4 services only when it works in line mode.

The maximum SDH capacity of the N502 board is 2 x 40 Gbit/s.

 

Supports Optical-layer ASON

Supports physical clock and Loopback only working in line mode

Supports Protection scheme of ODUk SNCP, tributary SNCP protection, and intra-board 1+1 protection (when working with the QCP or OLP or DCP board).

 

TNS8N502 is 2-port 200G/100G Programmable Hybrid Line Service Processing Board,the N502 board processes and converts the received service signals into two OTU4/OTUC2 or one OTUC4 signals, which are carried over ITU-T G.694.1-compliant DWDM wavelengths. The N502 board uses coherent receiving technologies and applies to coherent systems.

Latency measurement The board supports latency measurement in the WDM-side optical port direction (upstream direction).
When higher-order ODU4 cross-connections are created on the board, TCM latency measurement is supported for higher-order ODU4 channels. When lower-order ODUk cross-connections are created on the board, PM/TCM latency measurement is supported for higher-order ODU4 channels, and TCM latency measurement is supported for lower-order ODUk channels.
The board supports PM and TCM latency measurement at the ODUCn layer.
The board supports PM latency measurement at the OSUflex layer.
