TNU2N402PT51, 2-port 100G/200G or 1-port 400G programmable line service processing board on OSN 9800 U64/U32/U16, and OSN 9800 M24

N402P has two function versions TNU1 and TNU2, and TNU2N402P has three variants TNU2N402PT52, TNU2N402PT51, TNU2N402PF51.

Supports 100G_QPSK Mode, 200G_QPSK Mode, 200G_8QAM Mode, 200G_16QAM Mode, 400G_QPSK Mode, 400G_8QAM Mode and 400G_16QAM Mode

Supports Optical-layer ASON, Electrical-layer ASON, ESC function, PRBS function, Physical clock, Loopback in line mode

Only supports ESC function, Optical-layer ASON in relay mode

TNU2N402PT51 is a programmable line board whose functions vary depending on the working mode of the port. It can work in line or relay mode, and the working mode of the port can be flexibly adjusted. TNU2N402PT51 uses coherent receiving technologies and applies to coherent systems.

TNU2N402PT51 provides two ports that can be set to different working modes, and the working mode can be flexibly adjusted. Both port 1 and port 2 can be set to 100G mode or 200G mode, and only port 1 can be set to 400G mode.

Functions and features (line mode)
Basic function The signal conversion that the N402P board performs varies depending on the modes of port 1 and port 2. Details are as follows:
When both port 1 and port 2 are set to 100G mode, the board performs mutual conversion between ODUk signals with the total bandwidth not exceeding 200 Gbit/s and two channels of OTU4 signals.
When one port is set to 100G mode and the other port is set to 200G mode, the board performs mutual conversion between ODUk signals with the total bandwidth not exceeding 300 Gbit/s and one OTU4 signal plus one OTUC2 signal.
When both port 1 and port 2 are set to 200G mode, the board performs mutual conversion between ODUk signals with the total bandwidth not exceeding 400 Gbit/s and two channels of OTUC2 signals.
When port 1 is set to 400G mode, the board performs mutual conversion between ODUk signals with the total bandwidth not exceeding 400 Gbit/s and one OTUC4 signal.
Cross-connect capabilities Supports service grooming with cross-connect boards. The service granularities are the sum of granularities supported by port 1 and port 2.

Latency measurement The board supports latency measurement in the WDM-side optical port direction (upstream direction).

When higher-order ODU4 cross-connections are created on the board, TCM latency measurement is supported for higher-order ODU4 channels. When lower-order ODUk cross-connections are created on the board, PM/TCM latency measurement is supported for higher-order ODU4 channels, and TCM latency measurement is supported for lower-order ODUk channels.
The TNU2N402P board supports PM latency measurement at the ODUC2 layer.
The TNU1N402P board does not support latency measurement at the ODUC2 layer.

Protection scheme Supports ODUk SNCP.
Supports tributary SNCP protection.

Basic function The N402P board applies to electrical regeneration sites to provide the electrical regeneration function for optical signals using port 1 and port 2. Details are as follows:

When both port 1 and port 2 are set to 100G mode, the board electrically regenerates two channels of OTU4 signals.
When both port 1 and port 2 are set to 200G mode, the board electrically regenerates two channels of OTUC2 signals.
When port 1 is set to 400G mode, the board electrically regenerates one OTUC4 signal.
