Description

TNV1N302T01 is a 2-port 40 Gbit/s line service processing board

Applied to Huawei OSN 9800 U64, U32 and U16 subrack.

N302 has two functional versions TNV1 and TNU1; TNV1N302 has two variants T01 and G01, TNU1N302 has one variant T01.

Supports electrical cross-connections, OTN interfaces, and ESC communication.

Supports Optical-layer ASON.

Supports Protection scheme of ODUk SNCP, tributary SNCP protection, and intra-board 1+1 protection (when working with the OLP/DCP/QCP board) only working in line mode.

 

TNV1N302T01 is a 2×40 Gbit/s line service processing board on OSN 9800 U64, OSN 9800 U32 and OSN 9800 U16. It converts 64 ODU0, 32 ODU1, 8 ODU2, 2 ODU3, or 64 ODUflex signals into two ITU-T G.694.1 OTU3 signals (vice versa), or converts 8 ODU2e signals into two ITU-T G.694.1 OTU3e signals (vice versa). Each port on the board supports a mix of ODU0, ODU1, ODU2, ODU2e, and ODUflex signals. The TNU1N302 board employs coherent detection technology and is designated for coherent systems. The line boards at the two add/drop sites must have the same ODU timeslot allocation mode.

Basic functions Supports the following service conversions:
64xODU0/64xODUflex/32xODU1/8xODU2<->2xOTU3/OTU3e

Each port on the board supports a mix of ODU0, ODU1, ODU2, ODU2e, and ODUflex signals.
The TNV1N302T01/TNU1N302T01 board supports dispersion compensation for signals received on the WDM side.
NOTE:
TNV1N302G01 does not support OTU3e on the WDM side and ODU2e on the backplane side.
Cross-connect capabilities Supports the cross-connection of 64 ODU0 signals, 32 ODU1 signals, 64 ODUflex signals, 8 ODU2/ODU2e signals, or 2 ODU3 signals to/from the cross-connect board.
OTN functions Supports OTU3/OTU3e on the WDM side.
Supports the OTN frame format and overhead processing defined by ITU-T G.709.
OTU3 layer: supports SM overhead processing.
ODUk (k=0, 1, 2, 3, flex) layer: supports PM and TCM overhead processing, and non-intrusive monitoring of PM and TCM overheads.
Tunable wavelength function Supports tunable wavelength optical modules that provide for:
40 wavelengths tunable in the C band with 100 GHz channel spacing
80 wavelengths tunable in the C band with 50 GHz channel spacing
PRBS test function Supports the PRBS function on the WDM side.
FEC coding TNV1N302T01:
Supports ITU-T G.709-compliant forward error correction (FEC) on the WDM side.
Supports ITU-T G.975.1-compliant AFEC-2 on the WDM side.
TNV1N302G01:
Supports ITU-T G.709-compliant forward error correction (FEC) on the WDM side.
TNU1N302T01:
Supports HFEC on the WDM side.
NOTE:
Boards that use different FEC modes cannot interconnect with each other.
Alarms and performance events monitoring Monitors BIP8 bytes (Bursty mode) to help locate line failures.
Monitors parameters such as the bias current, temperature, and optical power of the laser.
Monitors OTN alarms and performance events.
Regeneration board The WDM-side signals from one TNV1N302T01 board can be regenerated by another TNV1N302T01/TN54NS3T01 board.
The WDM-side signals from one TNU1N302 board can be regenerated by another TNU1N302/TN55NS3/TN56NS3 board.
