TNV2N220, 20-port 10G line service processing board

Applied to Huawei OSN 9800 U64, U32 and 16 subrack

Supports electrical cross-connections, OTN interfaces, and ESC communication

Supports a maximum of 160 ODU0 signals, 80 ODU1 signals, 160 ODUflex signals, or 20 ODU2/ODU2e signals and cooperates with cross-connect boards to implement service grooming when ports are used as line ports (relay mode)

Supports Optical-layer ASON

Supports Loopback only working in line mode

Supports Protection scheme of ODUk SNCP, tributary SNCP protection, and intra-board 1+1 protection (when working with the OLP/DCP/QCP board) only working in line mode

TNV2N220 is a 20-port 10G line service processing board, applied to Huawei OSN 9800 U64/U32 and U16. TNV2N220 has only one variant TNV2N220X01.

Functions and features (line mode)
Basic functions N220 supports the following service conversions:
160x ODU0/80 x ODU1/160 x ODUflex/20 x ODU2<->20 x OTU2
20x ODU2e<->20 x OTU2e
Each port on the board supports a mix of ODU0, ODU1, and ODUflex signals.
Cross-connect capabilities Supports a maximum of 160 ODU0 signals, 80 ODU1 signals, 160 ODUflex signals, or 20 ODU2/ODU2e signals and cooperates with cross-connect boards to implement service grooming.
OTN functions Supports OTU2/OTU2e on the WDM side.
Supports the OTN frame format and overhead processing defined by ITU-T G.709.
OTU2 layer: supports SM overhead processing.
ODUk (k=0, 1, 2, flex) layer: supports PM and TCM overhead processing, and non-intrusive monitoring of PM and TCM overheads.
WDM specification Supports DWDM specifications.
Tunable wavelength function Supports tunable wavelength optical modules that provide for:
40 wavelengths tunable in the C band with 100 GHz channel spacing
80 wavelengths tunable in the C band with 50 GHz channel spacing

PRBS test function Supports the PRBS function on the WDM side.
FEC coding Supports ITU-T G.709-compliant forward error correction (FEC) on the WDM side.
Supports ITU-T G.975.1-compliant AFEC-2 on the WDM side.
NOTE:
Boards that use different FEC modes cannot interconnect with each other.
Alarms and performance events monitoring Monitors BIP8 bytes (Bursty mode) to help locate line failures.
Monitors parameters such as the bias current, temperature, and optical power of the laser.
Monitors OTN alarms and performance events.
Regeneration board The WDM-side signals from one N220 board can be regenerated by another ND2/NQ2/N210/N216 board.
