Description

TNU2N401PF51, 1-port 100G/200G Programmable Line Service Processing Board

With 150000ps/nm-Extended C Band-Tunable Wavelength-ePDM-100G QPSK/100G QPSK wDCM/200G QPSK/200G 16QAM/200G 8QAM(SDFEC2, SDFEC, F51)

Applied to Huawei OSN 9800 U64/U32/U16 and OSN 9800 M24 subrack

TNU2N401PF51 can work in line or relay mode. It is a programmable line board whose WDM-side rate can be flexibly adjusted to 100G or 200G. The board can be set to support 100G or 200G on a port basis. It supports the setting of 100G or 200G when working as a line board or a regeneration board. The N401P board uses coherent detection technologies and is designated for coherent systems.

The differences between 100G mode and 200G mode lie in the conversions of service signals. The two modes are compared as follows:

  • 100G mode:

The N401P board performs the following conversions: 80 x ODU0/40 x ODU1/10 x ODU2/10 x ODU2e/2 x ODU3/1 x ODU4/80 x ODUflex <-> 1 x OTU4. The OTU4 signal is an optical signal carried over an ITU-T G.694.1-compliant DWDM wavelength.

The same IN/OUT port can transmit a mixture of ODU0, ODU1, ODU2, ODU2e, ODU3, and ODUflex signals, the total bandwidth cannot exceed 100 Gbit/s.

  • 200G mode:

The N401P board performs the following conversions: 160 x ODU0/80 x ODU1/20 x ODU2/20 x ODU2e/4 x ODU3/2 x ODU4/160 x ODUflex <-> 1 x OTUC2. The OTUC2 signal is an optical signal carried over an ITU-T G.694.1-compliant DWDM wavelength.

The same IN/OUT port can transmit a mixture of ODU0, ODU1, ODU2, ODU2e, ODU3, ODUflex and ODU4 signals, the total bandwidth cannot exceed 200 Gbit/s.

Supports the settings of the high power mode and common power mode.
